Our Veterinary Ambassadors

Our Veterinary Ambassadors, who educate policymakers about the impact of veterinary shortages in rural America, have helped create new, influential champions for this cause. In 2023, Veterinary Ambassadors hosted an educational briefing for more than 30 legislative staff on Capitol Hill, met with a wide range of members of Congress, and led meetings with leadership at the USDA. This work can be directly correlated to the formation of the Senate Veterinary Medicine Caucus by Senators Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).
